Set up the club account
Identity, contact details, web address, currency, geolocation: account settings define your club’s basic information and how it appears throughout the application.
Summary
Update the club identity and contact details
- Go to Administration›Settings›Account Settings.
- In the Identity section, enter the club’s full name: avoid abbreviations to help players find your club and improve your search engine visibility.
- In the Contact Information section, complete the club’s e-mail address, postal address, phone numbers, and website.
- In the Club Description section, enter your opening hours and practical information.
- Select your sports activities.
- Click Save at the top of the screen to confirm your changes.
Monitor the club’s OpenResa subscription
The Subscription & Billing section displays your current plan, its expiry date, and the included user limit.
- Click Renew or Change Plan to extend your account or upgrade to a higher plan.
- Click Invoice and Order History to view and download your invoices.
The club subscription corresponds to your plan with our platform. It is separate from the subscriptions you create for your users to define their booking rules.
Customize the web address and mobile app
- In the Web Address section, choose the Domain Name that suits you.
- Enter a short, easy-to-type Custom Web Address, such as your club’s initials.
- In the Identity section, customize the Application Name displayed under the icon on mobile home screens: choose a short name, ideally 10 characters and up to 15 characters.
- Click the Club Logo to upload your logo: it appears in the site header, during loading, and on the installed app icon.
If you change your custom web address, the old address automatically redirects to the new one: your users will not get lost.
Choose the currency, language, and time zone
- In the Regional Settings section, select the Default Language offered to new visitors, the Time Zone, and the Time System (12-hour or 24-hour).
- Choose your Units of Measurement for weather display.
- Select your currency from the Currency list: it applies to all amounts displayed in the application.
- If your club uses billing, enter the Default Taxes: the label and rate applied by default to new products, with an optional second tax for dual-tax systems (for example GST and QST in Quebec).
Choose the currency before creating your products and prices. It applies to all amounts in the application, including those already entered: changing it later does not convert anything, it only displays the same numbers with a different symbol.
Payments & billing
Configure your billing accounts and catalog, sell and collect payments day to day, then track your revenue.
Products & services
The catalog brings together everything your club sells: booking credits, subscriptions, equipment, food, tournaments, lessons, camps, and more. It feeds users’ carts, the cash register, and manual orders.
Position the club on the map
- In the Geolocation section, move the marker on the map to position your club precisely.
- Click Save.
The location is used by our geolocated club search application, by the access map block on your home page, and to calculate weather forecasts. Enable Hide my club from geolocated search if you do not want to appear in search results.
Protect against automated bookings
- In the Security section, enable Protection against bots (automated actions): an invisible check ensures that the user is human on sensitive modules, such as the booking form.
- To limit this check to certain accounts only, enable Targeted Protection on Specific Users.
- Select the users concerned.
Users with administration rights are not affected by this protection.
