Automate your messages

Three automations to communicate effortlessly: a message displayed after login, text added to e-mail notifications, and a birthday message sent on the day itself.

Display a message after login

Ideal for an announcement that nobody should miss: the message is displayed full screen as soon as the user logs in.

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizePost-login Message.
  2. Create a message: optional title and free content (formatted text, images).
  3. Choose the target: All Subscriptions (default) or a specific subscription.
  4. Set the Expiration Date, then click Save.

You can create one message per subscription. If a specific message exists for a subscription, it replaces the default message for those subscribers: each person sees only one message.

The message remains displayed until the expiration date (included) and stops appearing the next day. Remember to extend the date or create a new message for your next announcements.

The Show all... option applies to long sessions (“Stay signed in”): the message is displayed again after the selected inactivity period, so that users who never log in again also see it. A view counter on each message tells you how many times it has been seen.

Add text to e-mail notifications

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizeMessage in Notifications.
  2. Enable the context or contexts you want and write text for each one.
  3. Click Save.

Seven contexts are available, each with its own text: Booking Notification, Cancellation Notification, Message Notification, Login Notification, Sending login credentials, User Suspension and User Reactivation.

Adapt the text to the context: for example, “Don’t forget to pass the net and water the court before leaving” in the booking notification, or the reception desk contact details in the e-mail used to send login credentials.
Suspension and reactivation texts are only sent if you tick the notification sending option at the time of the operation. Without this box, the user is not notified of anything, and your text remains unused.

Automatically wish users a happy birthday

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizeAutomatic Birthday Message.
  2. Tick Enable Automatic Sending and personalize the message.
  3. Click Save.

The message is sent by e-mail on each user’s birthday. The Variables section lists the variables you can copy and paste into the text — first name, last name, age, date of birth — with an example of the result for each one. A default message is provided at the start, to be adapted to your club’s tone.

You can include a gift with the message: Offer booking credits and Offer guest credits add the selected number of credits to the user’s account when the message is sent.

Gifted credits can only be used if the corresponding feature (credits or invitations) is enabled in the user’s subscription. Also remember to mention the gift in the message: nothing automatically notifies the recipient about it.
