Igloohome: battery-powered padlocks and locks
Igloohome manufactures smart padlocks, key boxes, and locks that run on batteries, with opening by code or fingerprint. It is the easiest solution to install: no wiring, and no network required at the equipment location.
Understanding how it works
Igloohome devices are standalone: they calculate the validity of a code themselves, without being connected to anything. Your club account generates the code for the booking, and the player enters it on site.
The range covers everything from a padlock for a gate to a door lock, including key boxes — useful when the door cannot be replaced.
Two types of codes coexist: temporary codes linked to a booking, and permanent codes for people who enter regularly.
Connecting your Igloohome account
- Open Administration›Settings›Access Control & Piloting, then More Information on the Igloohome card.
- Enable Activate the Igloohome module.
- Enter the API: Client ID and API: Client Secret for your Igloohome account, then click Log In.
The API Status block confirms the connection.
Linking your calendars to devices
Match each calendar with the Igloohome product that controls its access. A calendar without an associated product does not trigger any opening.
Setting the time tolerance
Two settings define the window during which the code works around the booking:
- Tolerance before the start of the time slot: authorized early access margin;
- Tolerance after the end of the time slot: margin for leaving.
Getting the equipment
The equipment is purchased directly from Igloohome. The solution card displays a promotional code giving a 10% discount on their online store.
