Automate your messages

Three automations help you communicate effortlessly: a message displayed after sign-in, text added to e-mail notifications, and a birthday message sent on the day itself.

Display a message after sign-in

Ideal for an announcement that no one should miss: the message is displayed full screen as soon as the user signs in.

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizePost-login Message.
  2. Create a message. The title is optional, and the content can include formatted text and images.
  3. Choose the audience: All Subscriptions (default) or a specific subscription.
  4. Set the Expiration Date. Then click Save.

You can create one message per subscription. If a specific message exists for a subscription, it replaces the default message for those subscribers: each user sees only one message.

The message remains displayed until the expiration date (inclusive) and stops appearing the next day. Remember to extend the date or create a new message for your next announcements.

The Show all... option applies to long sessions (“Stay signed in”): the message is displayed again after the selected inactivity period, so that users who never sign in again also see it. A view counter on each message shows you how many times it has been seen.

Add text to e-mail notifications

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizeMessage in Notifications.
  2. Enable the desired context or contexts. Write text for each one.
  3. Click Save.

Your text is added to the corresponding e-mail notifications: booking, cancellation, receipt of a message, sign-in, sending login details, suspension, and reactivation of a user.

Adapt the text to the context: for example, “Don’t forget to drag the net and water the court before leaving” in the booking notification, or the office contact details in the e-mail used to send login details.

Send automatic birthday wishes

  1. Go to AdministrationCustomizeAutomatic Birthday Message.
  2. Check Enable Automatic Sending. Customize the message.
  3. Click Save.

The message is sent by e-mail on each user’s birthday. Variables let you personalize it: first name, last name, age, date of birth.

You can include a gift with the message: Offer booking credits and Offer guest credits add the selected number of credits to the user’s account when the message is sent.

Gifted credits can only be used if the corresponding feature (credits or invitations) is enabled in the user’s subscription. Also remember to mention the gift in the message: nothing tells the recipient about it automatically.
