Find a playing partner
Find players at your level: join the organization's WhatsApp groups, post an ad, browse the directory, open your bookings to other users or join theirs.
Open a booking to other players
When you make a booking, the Find a Partner option opens your time slot to other users: they can join it directly, up to the authorised number of participants.
Join an open booking
If your organization has enabled the Availability view, its Find a Partner tab brings together the bookings that other players have opened and that still have room. You no longer have to spot them one by one in the calendars.
- Open Availability from the booking menu
- Choose a day in the top bar, then click the Find a Partner tab. The number shown on the tab is the number of bookings you can join that day.
- Browse the cards: each one shows the time, the court, the duration, the players who have already joined and the places still available.
- Click Add My Name: the booking form opens, and you confirm to join the other players.
Below the bookings for the day, the Upcoming section shows those of the following days. If the displayed day has none, it appears straight away.
Your own bookings are not listed, and the tab only appears if there is at least one booking to join. Names and photos follow the organization's settings and each person's privacy choices: a player may appear as Private.
You can also join an open booking from the Calendars by Day and Calendars by Week views: the Add My Name label then appears on the time slot. However, you have to browse the calendars to spot these time slots, whereas the Availability view brings them all together in one place.
Join a WhatsApp group
Your organization may run WhatsApp groups, by level or by discipline for example. Those that concern you appear at the top of the Find a Partner page, and sometimes on the organization's home page.
- Open Find a Partner from the booking menu
- Browse the groups on offer, then click Join on WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp opens on the group invitation: confirm to join it.
Your membership is then managed in WhatsApp: that is where you leave the group.
Post an ad
- Open Find a Partner from the booking menu
- Click Add an Announcement.
- Enter the level you are looking for, your days and preferred times, and introduce yourself in a few words.
- Choose how you want to be contacted: through the internal messaging, and by phone if you wish.
- Confirm with Save.
Your ad is visible to the organization's other users. You can update it at any time with Edit My Listing: the form also offers Delete my listing to remove it.
Browse the organization's directory
If your organization has enabled it, the Club Member Directory lists the users who have agreed to appear in it. Search for a player by surname, first name, ranking or year of birth, then contact them through the internal messaging.
Control your visibility
Everyone chooses what they share. In My Account›Privacy, you can in particular:
- choose between Appear in the directory and Do not appear in the directory;
- define who can book with you (all users, an allowed list, a blocked list or no one);
- define who can send you a message;
- hide your identity or your photo on the calendars.
The Privacy Settings button in the directory takes you straight to these settings.
