A third view joins the calendars by day and by week: Availability. For the chosen day, it brings together on a single screen what the player can still book: free time slots with their duration and price, activities open for participation and bookings looking for partners, waiting to be completed.
Until now, to find out where to play tomorrow evening, you had to browse the calendars, which can be very busy when your organization has many courts. From now on, the answer is displayed directly and in a more concise way, on a computer as well as on a phone. The calendars by day and by week, much appreciated by most of you, do not change: they will keep evolving and remain the right way to see everything that is happening in the club.
The full step-by-step guide is in the documentation: Availability: see free time slots at a glance.

The view is enabled for all users: the right has been given to the profiles that already consulted the calendars by day or by week. They find it in the Booking menu: it is the magnifying glass button.
The view that opens by default remains Per day: nothing changes for your users as long as you do not change this setting. You can choose another default view, or keep Availability for certain profiles: the steps are given at the end of this article.

The view applies the rules of the subscription of the person looking at it: authorized calendars, number of days visible in advance, permitted hours and durations, price of each time slot. Two users with different subscriptions therefore do not see the same list. Clicking a time slot opens the usual booking form.
Each user chooses a display, and finds it again on the next visit:
If you have created calendar groups, they also filter this view, by activity or by site for example.

At the top of the view, a strip shows the coming days, up to the last day the subscription allows the user to see. Under each day, a gauge sums up the day: Available, Almost full or Full. A blue dot marks the days on which the user already has a booking.
When a day has no time slot left, the view says so and offers to go straight to the next day that has some.

Each time slot shows its start time, its duration and its price when the booking is paid. If your bookings are paid in credits displayed in currency, your players therefore see the price of each time slot, peak and off-peak hours included, even before opening the form.
If the subscription offers custom time slots, the same start time can be booked for several durations, for example 60, 90 or 120 minutes on a padel court. The time slot then carries a small arrow: one click unfolds the possible durations, each with its price.

The Activities tab lists your participatory bookings open for participation: group lessons, courses, tournaments, events. Until now, your users had to spot them in the grid. They are now gathered in one place, with the time, how full they are, the remaining places and the price. One click opens the details of the activity, where the user joins.
Below the activities of the day, the Upcoming part shows the following ones. You have nothing to configure: a participatory booking appears in the tab as soon as it accepts the user as a participant.

The Find a Partner tab lists the bookings that other players have opened and that still have room. Each card shows the time, the court, the players already taking part and the free places. Simply click Add My Name to join them.
It is still possible to join an open booking from the calendars by day and by week, but you then have to browse the grid to find it, which is less convenient. Names and photos follow your privacy settings, as in the calendars.

On a phone, the view keeps the same elements, stacked: calendar groups, a day strip to scroll, tabs, then the time slots. When you scroll the list, the header folds away to leave room for the time slots, and comes back as soon as you scroll up.

A calendar administrator sees the view without restriction. To check what your rules really produce, the View as a subscriber button, to the right of the tabs, displays the view as a subscription presents it to its users: same time slots, same durations, same prices.
It is the fastest way to check a rule you have just changed, whether it is the number of visible days, a forbidden calendar, custom time slots or a price. This is a preview: your own bookings do not appear in it, and bookings to complete can be viewed but not joined.

The view is enabled by default for all users. If needed, you can customize access profile by profile, as for the other two views. You can for example open it to your players and keep the grid by day for the front desk team, or the other way round. Another example: a “Rental” profile on which only the Availability view is available, while your other users have all three views.
Go to Administration›Users›Access Rights›Profiles & Roles and open a profile. In its Booking tab, tick the accessible views, then choose in Default view the one that opens when the user arrives on the booking page: Per day, By Week or Availability. All that remains is to save.

If the default view of a profile is not accessible to it, the first authorized view opens instead.
