Configure the organization account
Identity, contact details, web address, currency, geolocation: the account settings define your organization's basic information and the way it appears throughout the application.
Summary
Update the organization's identity and contact details
- Go to Administration›Settings›Account Settings.
- In the Identity section, enter the organization's full name: avoid abbreviations to help players find your organization and improve your ranking on search engines.
- In the Contact Information section, fill in the organization's e-mail address, postal address, phone numbers and website.
- In the Club Description section, indicate your opening hours, your practical information and tick your sports activities.
- Click Save at the top of the screen to confirm your changes.
Track the organization's OpenResa subscription
The Subscription & Billing section displays your current plan, its expiry date and the included user limit.
- Click Renew or Change Plan to extend your account or move up to a higher plan.
- Click Invoice and Order History to view and download your invoices.
The organization's subscription corresponds to your plan with our platform. It is independent of the subscriptions you create for your users in order to define their booking rules.
Customize the web address and the mobile application
- In the Web Address section, choose the Domain Name that suits you.
- Enter a Custom Web Address that is short and easy to type, for example your organization's initials.
- In the Identity section, customize the Application Name shown under the icon on mobile home screens: prefer a short name, ideally 10 characters and up to 15 characters.
- Click the Club Logo to upload your logo: it appears in the site header, during loading and on the icon of the installed application.
If you change your custom web address, the old address automatically redirects to the new one: your users are not lost.
Choose the currency, language and time zone
- In the Regional Settings section, select the Default Language offered to new visitors, the Time Zone and the Time System (12-hour or 24-hour).
- Choose your Units of Measurement for the weather display.
- Select your currency from the Currency list: it applies to every amount displayed in the application.
- If your organization uses billing, fill in the Default Taxes: label and rate applied by default to new products, with an optional second tax for dual-tax systems (for example GST and QST in Quebec).
Choose the currency before creating your products and your prices. It applies to every amount in the application, including those already entered: changing it later converts nothing, it simply displays the same numbers with another symbol.
Payments & billing
Configure your billing accounts and your catalog, sell and collect payments day to day, then track your revenue.
Products & services
The catalog brings together everything your club sells: Booking credits, subscriptions, equipment, food items, tournaments, lessons, camps… It feeds the users’ cart, the cash register, and manual orders.
Place the organization on the map
- In the Geolocation section, move the marker on the map to position your organization precisely.
- Click Save.
The position is used by our geolocated organization search application, by the location map block on your home page and to calculate the weather forecast. Enable Hide my club from geolocated search if you do not want to appear in the search results.
Protect yourself from automated bookings
- In the Security section, enable Protection against bots (automated actions): an invisible check makes sure the user is indeed human on sensitive modules, such as the booking form.
- To limit this check to certain accounts only, enable Targeted Protection on Specific Users and select the users concerned.
Users with administration rights are not affected by this protection.
