Public terminal mode: neutralization of external links

If you are using the public terminal mode on a computer / terminal in the clubhouse, this update may interest you. From now on, external links are opened via a special page with a banner and a back button to easily come back to BalleJaune.

Examples of external links :

  • Club "Website" link on the home page and on the contact page.
  • Links to articles on the RSS feed widget.
  • Links in the "Free text" widgets.
  • Links in the "Message after login".

Concretely, a club member connects to the club terminal, then decides to read an article from the RSS feed "L'Équipe" on the home page.

Until now, the link was opened in a new tab and the user left BalleJaune: depending on the terminal's configuration, this may not be practical at all.

Now, the article is opened directly on BalleJaune via a special page containing a banner and a back button.
