  About the club

The sports club has a thriving squash section, catering for players of all levels and abilities. In addition to squash, members can also enjoy racketball which is becoming popular for those wishing to test their stamina even more! The club has two well-maintained, heated squash courts with an upstairs viewing gallery providing spectators with visibility of both courts. There are also changing facilities with showers. The club is a member of Scottish Squash.

Peak Times

Peak times are Mon-Thurs 1645-2030. Members may not double book (i.e. book two consecutive courts) during these times.

Mini Leagues

A full programme of mini leagues operate all year round, for both squash and racketball, giving members the chance to meet and enjoy competitive games. The leagues cover all standards and players quickly find the best suited league for their playing level. League matches are played within the month and players are then promoted/relegated based on their league standings.

Full league rules are available for squash here, and for racketball here. To join the leagues or to find out more contact us using the form here.

Coaching

Regular squash coaching sessions are available for both juniors and adults wishing to improve their skills. Coaching takes place on Saturday mornings. To find out more contact us using the form here.

Team Squash

Team squash is played, with three teams representing the club in the East of Scotland leagues. The club is always on the lookout for players to join the teams and help maintain the competitive standing of the club. To find out more contact us using the form here.

Social Club Nights

There are social club nights held roughly every six weeks on a Friday night. The aim is to get members together, play some squash or racketball, have a drink and eat some pizza! All abilities are catered for and there's no need to book, just turn up and play. The bar is open throughout, and pizzas are served in the lounge once the games start to wind down. To find out more contact us using the form here.

Championships

There are two sets of championships that run annually. In Autumn there's a squash handicap championship that runs on a single day, usually a Sunday in October. This is a more social event, and due to the handicaps is suitable for players of all abilities.

The main club championships run from January through to a finals day, usually a Saturday in April. There are a range of categories covering squash (open, handicap, women, masters) and racketball (open, handicap, masters). The format is knockout across a number of rounds, and most categories have a "plate" for anyone losing their first match in each category. Finals day is the highlight of the squash season for the club, and a great event to attend whether competing or not!

Membership Fees

Note there are no additional court booking, lighting or heating fees to pay on top of the membership fee. To join the club head to our membership portal here.
