Automate Your Messages
Three automations to communicate effortlessly: a message displayed after login, a text added to e-mail notifications, and a birthday message sent on the day itself.
Display a message after login
Ideal for an announcement no one should miss: the message is displayed full screen as soon as the user logs in.
- Go to Administration›Customize›Post-login Message.
- Create a message: optional title and free content (formatted text, images).
- Choose the target: All Subscriptions (default) or a specific Subscription.
- Set the Expiration Date, then click Save.
You can create one message per Subscription. If a specific message exists for a Subscription, it replaces the default message for those subscribers: each person only sees one message.
The Show all... option concerns long-lasting sessions ("Stay signed in"): the message is displayed again after the chosen period of inactivity, so that Users who never log in again also see it. A display counter on each message tells you how many times it has been viewed.
Add a text to e-mail notifications
- Go to Administration›Customize›Message in Notifications.
- Enable the context or contexts you want and write a text for each one.
- Click Save.
Seven contexts are available, each with its own text: Booking Notification, Cancellation Notification, Message Notification, Login Notification, Sending login credentials, User Suspension and User Reactivation.
Automatically send birthday wishes
- Go to Administration›Customize›Automatic Birthday Message.
- Tick Enable Automatic Sending and personalise the message.
- Click Save.
The message is sent by e-mail on each User's birthday. The Variables section lists those you can copy and paste into the text — first name, last name, age, date of birth — with a sample result for each one. A default message is provided to start with, which you can adapt to your Organization's tone.
You can add a gift to the message: Offer booking credits and Offer guest credits add the chosen number of credits to the User's account when the message is sent.
