Bournemouth Sports Table Tennis Club: Safeguarding Statement

We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members, especially children and vulnerable adults. Our priority is to ensure that everyone can enjoy table tennis in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Our Commitment:

  • Safeguarding Policy: We have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy in place, which outlines our procedures for protecting children and vulnerable adults from harm. This policy is available to all members upon request.
  • Trained Personnel: Our club officials and coaches receive regular safeguarding training to ensure they are aware of best practices and know how to respond to concerns.
  • Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO): We have a designated Safeguarding Officer who is responsible for overseeing our safeguarding procedures and acting as a point of contact for any concerns.
  • Open Communication: We encourage open communication and want all members to feel comfortable reporting any concerns they may have about the welfare of a child or vulnerable adult.

Reporting Concerns:

If you have any concerns about the safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable adult at our club, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Officer immediately. You can also report concerns to Table Tennis England (TTE) through their confidential reporting procedures.
