An administrator should be able to manage all users. On the other hand, a moderator should only be able to modify members' and visitors' files, he should not be able to grant himself the administrator profile and even less to create/modify/delete them.
This is the initial objective of this new option in Administration > Users > Profiles & access rights. However, it can be very useful in many other situations, for example to share the management of users between several associations.
Let's take the configuration in the image below. Here the moderator will only be able to manage users with the profile"Member","Squash" and"Visitor". this option acts directly in the modules"Express creation" and"Complete file", which means that only these listed profiles will be available.
Be careful, if you omit this field and leave it empty, the animator will not be able to manage any user, the complete file module will be empty and the express creation impossible.
